Description

It is a commonly held, but mistaken view, that the key to a business turnaround is short term cost reduction. By contrast a more balanced view would be to see managers, responsible for business turnarounds, taking a more holistic approach. Both strategic and operational issues need to be addressed. This training session provides the tools to turnaround a business from a position of decline (or potential future decline) to that of ascent. Management must accomplish four key tasks and these are:

  • Take control and manage the immediate, or impending, crisis
  • Create stakeholder support
  • Fix the problems of the business
  • Restructure the funding of the business
