How will this Workshop be Presented?

This workshop combines theory and practice. We use company examples to illustrate how the techniques presented have been applied in real case studies. The purpose is to use a mix of proven learning techniques to ensure maximum understanding, comprehension and retention of the information presented.

  • The art of building your own confidence
  • Creating the Right Message
  • Planning for the perfect presentation
  • Audience focused SMART objectives
  • Researching the audience and setting time related objectives
  • Researching presentations
  • Creating a ‘map’ for your audience
  • Harnessing nerves in a creative way
  • Key messages and clear structure

DAY TWO –

  • The Art and Science of Performance
  • The importance of good eye contact in presenting
  • Body language and assertiveness
  • The vocal skills of top presenters
  • Increased emphasis, tonality and tonal marking
  • The differing skills for small or platform presentations
  • Visual aids, what are they and how they should be used
  • How to influence an audience and handle questions with ease
  • Putting it all together for balanced presentationsThe session concludes with each participant practising the skills they have learned by making a short presentation to the group. At the clients option, it would be possible to invite Senior Managers from the employer organisation to be present in the audience and to participant in participant feedback sessions
