The ILM is the U.K’s largest management body.
Committed to the improvement of professional standards, ILM qualifications are based on the National Occupational Standards, ensuring that they benefit from the most up to date research & accurately reflect the changing face of the workplace.
As an approved centre of the ILM, St Andrews Management Centre delivers ILM Scottish Vocational Qualifications (SVQs) & Vocationally Relevant Qualifications (VRQ) in Leadership & Management. We also help businesses develop their own in-house training programmes through the ILM Recognition scheme.
Vocationally Relevant Qualifications (VRQ)
VRQ’s are tutor-taught courses with candidates being assessed through a series of written assignments. The flexible composition of each award allows us to work within the ILM framework to design a course of study which suits the needs of each individual candidate & business. We deliver VRQs in the following:
ILM Level 2: Certificate in Team Leading
ILM Level 3: Leadership & Management
Scottish Vocational Qualification (SVQ)
With ILM SVQ’s, work-based practice is placed at the heart of learning. Candidates work on real, in-work situations and projects to develop a portfolio of evidence which demonstrates their competency as a manager. This allows candidates to immediately begin implementing the skills they are learning into their working practise. We deliver SVQ’s in the following:
ILM SVQ in Team Leading at SCQF Level 5
ILM SVQ in Management at SCQF Level 7
ILM SVQ in Management at SCQF Level 9
ILM SVQ in Management at SCQF Level 11
ILM Recognition: Endorsed and Development Programmes
St Andrews Management Centre, as an approved centre of the ILM, can help your business develop its own accredited in-house training programme through the ILM Recognition process.
